Corporate Directors Forum is an accredited provider of CGQ credit. First introduced in 2002, CGQ measures the strengths, deficiencies and overall quality of a company's corporate governance practices and board of directors. Director education is one of eight categories that affect a company’s score. Your participation at CDF events will help to increase CGQ ranking of the boards in which you serve on. In order to qualify for credits you must be an active director on the board of a publicly traded company.
CGQ ratings are based on 65 unique variables across eight categories:
1. Board,
2. Audit,
3. Charter and Bylaw Provisions,
4. State of Incorporation,
5. Executive and Director Compensation,
6. Qualitative Factors,
7. Ownership,
8. Director Education.
At each event you attend simply sign the registration sheet and take a certificate of completion. The CDF staff will then report your credits to RiskMetrics on a bi-annual basis (January and July).
