- The most common ownership structure in San Diego companies studied is “Principal Shareholder”
(59 percent) up from 37 percent in 2007
- The percentage of San Diego companies with a poison pill in place has dropped from 50 percent in
2006 to 30 percent in 2010
- CEO tenure was 8.2 years in 2010, up from 6.8 years in 2008
- Smaller organizations saw significant increases in total director compensation
